Terms of Service

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Apache A-X Cybernetic Enterprises, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Doco", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your use of doco.to and everything we offer under the Doco name, including its website, MCP server, APIs, hook script, integrations, assistant and emails (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, connecting an agent or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

Please read Section 17 carefully. Unless you opt out, it requires you to resolve disputes with Doco through individual binding arbitration, and it waives your right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action.

If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organization.

1. Who may use Doco

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service if the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction bar you from doing so, including if you are located in an embargoed country or named on a government list of restricted parties. The Service is a tool for work: it is not offered for personal, family or household use.

2. Your account

You sign in to Doco with your email address and a password. Keep your password secret and your email account secure, since anyone who can read your email can choose a new password. You are responsible for your password, for every credential Doco issues to you or your agents, including API keys, hook tokens and OAuth tokens, and for all activity under your account and those credentials, whether or not you authorized it. Tell us promptly at legal@doco.to if you believe your account or a credential has been compromised. We may refuse, reclaim or change any workspace, collection or other handle, for example to prevent impersonation or to resolve a trademark dispute.

3. Agents acting for you

The Service is built for AI agents, such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI, to read and write on your behalf. Anything done through a connection, token or session you set up or authorized is treated as done by you, and you are responsible for it, including what agents capture, change, delete, share or send. You are responsible for choosing your agents, for what you instruct them to do, for the access you grant them and for reviewing their work. If you install the Doco hook, you direct it to send Doco the parts of your prompts and the file paths described on the instructions for agents page.

4. AI output

The Service uses AI models, including models that third parties run, to produce content such as Señor Doco's replies, briefs, summaries, search results and the activity digest ("Output"). Output is generated automatically. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or offensive, may misstate Your Content and may resemble Output produced for others. Output is not legal, financial, medical, security or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating Output, including by human review where appropriate, before you or your agents rely or act on it.

5. Your content

"Your Content" is anything you, your agents or the integrations you connect submit to or bring into the Service, including decisions, rules, logs and other nodes, policies, chat messages, attachments and data imported from other services. As between you and Doco, you keep ownership of Your Content.

You grant Doco a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, which we may sublicense to our service providers, to host, store, copy, transmit, process, index, embed, analyze, summarize, adapt, display and otherwise use Your Content to provide, maintain, secure, support and improve the Service, and to share it as the Service is designed to and as you direct, for example with members of your workspaces, with your agents and with the integrations you connect. This license lasts while Your Content is in the Service and for as long afterwards as copies remain in our backups and logs. We may also create and use aggregated or de-identified data derived from the Service for any lawful purpose.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you have all the rights, licenses, consents and authority needed to submit Your Content and to connect each integration you connect, including any permission required from your organization and from the people whose messages, documents, code or personal information Your Content contains;
  • Your Content, and our use of it under these Terms, does not and will not violate any law, anyone's rights or the terms of any service it comes from; and
  • you will not submit health information protected by HIPAA or similar laws, payment card data, government identification numbers, passwords or other secrets, special categories of personal data, personal information of children or data whose export is controlled, unless we have agreed to it in writing.

Workspaces and collections can be shared with others, and some can be made public. You are responsible for the visibility you choose and for whom you invite; content you make public can be read by anyone, including search engines and AI agents.

We have no obligation to monitor Your Content, but we may remove or disable any of it at any time, for any reason. We do not promise to store Your Content for any period: some of it expires on its own (for example, chat attachments after 30 days, and deleted collections are purged 30 days after deletion), and it may be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you need.

6. Integrations and other services

The Service connects to services that others run, such as GitHub, Slack, Notion, AI agents and AI model providers. Your use of each of them is governed by its own terms, and Doco is not responsible for any of them, for their availability, security or content, or for changes they make that affect the Service. When you connect an integration, you authorize Doco to access, copy and keep in sync the data that integration describes until you disconnect it. We may stop supporting any integration at any time.

7. Personal information

To provide the Service we process personal information, including your username and email address, how you and your agents use the Service, and personal information in Your Content. We share it with the service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting, database, email and AI model providers, and we may disclose it where we believe the law requires it or to protect Doco, our users or others. Personal information may be processed in the United States and in other countries. Where Your Content contains personal information about other people, you are responsible for giving them any notice and obtaining any consent the law requires. We send emails about the Service, such as the activity digest and setup reminders; you can unsubscribe from the digest from any digest email.

8. Acceptable use

You will not, and will not let your agents or anyone else:

  • use the Service to break the law, or to infringe, misappropriate or violate anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
  • upload or send malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, deceptive or obscene;
  • access any account, workspace, collection or data without permission, or get around any access control, rate limit or other limit of the Service;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, or place an unreasonable load on it;
  • copy, scrape, sell, resell, rent or lease the Service, or use it or its Output to build or train a competing product or model;
  • reverse engineer or decompile the Service, except to the extent the law or an open-source license covering that code allows it;
  • send spam, including unsolicited invitations;
  • impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone; or
  • use the Service where its failure could lead to death, personal injury, or serious environmental or property damage.

We may investigate suspected violations and respond as we see fit, including by removing content, suspending or closing accounts and reporting to law enforcement.

9. Doco's property and open source

Doco and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, documentation and the Doco name, logo and wordmark. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use the Service. We reserve every right we do not expressly grant. Some of Doco's source code is published under an open-source license; that license governs your use of that code, and nothing in these Terms limits the rights it gives you, but it does not cover the hosted Service, your access to it or Doco's trademarks.

10. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports or other feedback, including through the Service's feedback reporter, you grant Doco a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for any purpose, without restriction or payment to you.

11. Fees

The Service is currently free. We may start charging for some or all of it. We will tell you before you are charged anything, you will not be charged unless you agree, and paid features may come with additional terms.

12. An early-stage service

The Service is in early access. Features may be experimental, incomplete or limited, and we may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including its storage and usage limits, at any time, with or without notice and without liability to you.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can delete your collections and workspaces from their settings. We may suspend or end your access to the Service, or to any workspace or collection, at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or created risk or possible legal exposure for Doco. When your access ends, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content without any obligation to keep or return it, except where the law requires otherwise. Sections 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 13 to 21 survive the end of these Terms, as does any other provision that by its nature should.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, DOCO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS (THE "DOCO PARTIES") DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY AND QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. THE DOCO PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, THAT YOUR CONTENT WILL NOT BE LOST, CORRUPTED OR DISCLOSED, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR RELIABLE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, (A) THE DOCO PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL OR DATA, OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE; AND (B) THE DOCO PARTIES' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DOCO FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND US$50. THESE LIMITS APPLY WHATEVER THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR ANYTHING ELSE, AND EVEN IF A LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT ALL APPLY TO YOU.

16. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Doco Parties from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, fines, penalties, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to Your Content; your or your agents' use of the Service; any integration or other service you connect; your violation of these Terms or of any law; or your violation of anyone else's rights. We may take over the defense of any such matter at your expense, and you will cooperate with us. You will not settle any such matter without our prior written consent.

17. Disputes: arbitration and class action waiver

Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to email legal@doco.to describing the dispute and the relief you want, and to try in good faith to resolve it with us for 60 days.

Binding arbitration. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (a "Dispute") will be resolved by final and binding arbitration between you and Doco individually, not in court, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may ask a court for an injunction or other equitable relief to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Service. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, or its Consumer Arbitration Rules where those apply, before a single arbitrator, in English, seated in Wilmington, Delaware; hearings may be held by video. The arbitrator decides all questions about the scope and enforceability of this Section, except that a court decides whether the class action waiver below is enforceable. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

No class actions. You and Doco may bring Disputes only individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of more than one person or award relief to anyone but the individual party. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a Dispute, that Dispute, and only that one, will be decided in court under Section 18 instead of in arbitration.

No jury. Where a Dispute is decided in court, you and Doco each waive the right to a jury trial.

Opting out. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing legal@doco.to within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your name, your Doco username and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect the rest of these Terms.

Time limit. To the extent the law allows, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

18. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and Section 17 is also governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Subject to Section 17, the state and federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any Dispute, and you and Doco consent to their personal jurisdiction. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms at any time. We will post the changed Terms on this page and update the date at the top, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice, for example in the Service or by email. Changes take effect when posted unless the notice says otherwise, and by continuing to use the Service after they take effect, you accept them. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service. A change to Section 17 does not apply to a Dispute that either of us raised before the change.

20. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Doco about the Service and replace any earlier agreement about it. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer them, in whole or in part, without your consent, including to an affiliate or to a successor in a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the rest of these Terms stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You agree to receive notices and other communications from us electronically, by email to the address on your account or in the Service, and that they satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. You and Doco are independent contractors, and these Terms create no third-party beneficiaries. You will comply with all export control and sanctions laws that apply to your use of the Service. Headings are for convenience only, and "including" means "including without limitation".
